Tony’s Take: 👍👍 This is an important car. Not in the sense of a rare, collectible Ferrari. Sure, the Mondial T Coupe was the first Ferrari with a transversely-mounted gearbox mated to a longitudinally-mounted engine (forming a lower-sitting “T”). It was also the first Ferrari with power brakes, power steering and a [three-position] adjustable suspension. All of which are prone to failure (not to mention panel rust).

Last June, this badly built, continually repaired 2+2 sold for $58k with 50k miles on the clock. Disregarding the additional 4k miles, the hammer price may tell us if the recession is starting to sting. Or not. It’s hard to believe any roadworthy Ferrari would sink below $50k. We shall see. Downside: Plenty of fixes, plenty more to come. If the sunroof dies . . . Oh, and “total mileage is unknown.”
