Condition and Restoration:
Purchased circa 2019, the current owner of this 1992 Ferrari 512 TR embarked on an ambitious journey to restore this classic model to its ultimate potential. After an exhaustive search for the perfect candidate, the consignor found this gem and entrusted its restoration to the skilled artisans at Naples Classic Car in Naples, Florida.
During the restoration process, every detail was meticulously addressed, ensuring that the car presents in exquisite condition. The engine underwent a comprehensive rebuild, utilizing both new old stock (NOS) and factory parts to guarantee peak performance. New pistons, valves, a starter, and an air-conditioning system were meticulously installed. Additionally, the gearbox received new synchros and a F512 M differential, further enhancing its performance capabilities. The engine and gearbox were reunited with the car, now resting on what is believed to be the last available new old stock F512 M rear subframe.
Interior:
The attention to detail extended into the cabin, where the interior was lavishly reupholstered in Crema and dark blue, using only Ferrari leather. The carpets, finished in lustrous dark blue, add to the opulent atmosphere, providing a striking contrast against the light-colored seats. The result is a refined and inviting interior that complements the car’s exhilarating performance.
Additional Details:
Included with the sale of this meticulously restored 512 TR are extensive restoration receipts and photos, factory books and manuals in their leather case, and the factory tool and flat tire repair kits. At the time of cataloging, the car had been driven a mere 5 miles since its restoration, making it a pristine example ready to be admired and enjoyed.
