Tony’s Take: 👍 Farago has a major hard-on for AMG GT special editions. Specifically, the AMG GT Black Series – the take-no-prisoners version of AMG’s rear-wheel drive car. Cranking out 720 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque, the German track monster’s capable of astounding sound and fury. With just 400 of 1700 examples stateside, low milers are already bringing $100k+ over sticker. If you want to get in while the getting’s good, I like this one.

Three words: Magma Beam Orange. Orange isn’t the new black in MB world – it’s currently the least expensive of the breed. That’s gonna change. Think Ford GT in Gulf livery. It started as a drug on the market. Now it’s The One To Have. I predict the $9900 option orange Black Series will share the same fate. Downside: All that power and technology and it still looks like a German car.

  1. In much the same way that a Sig is not stylish compared to a Beretta but looks pretty good compared to a Glock, that looks like an orange Glock.
