Tony’s Take: 👍 👍 “The car you couldn’t give away!” That’s what a dealer said to me back in 2010 when I tried to wholesale him a near perfect 20k mile Ferrari Dino 246 GTS Series III. I offered him a Certified “Classiche” Red Book” 1972 Dino for $125k. Last week, a Dino with more miles and better color than the one above sold for $501k. That’s a boat load of cash, but it is a gorgeous, important car. Downside: Baby Boomers are dying off. Younger buyers are focusing their attention on the X Gen cars from 1975 to 2005. I don’t see Dinos getting any stronger over the next 5 years. (Most pre-’72 Ferraris haven’t moved much during this crazy exotic car spike.) ‘Chairs and NO Flares‘
