Tony’s Take: 👍 Corvette Summer – starring post-Star Wars Mark Hamill – made me LOVE the Chevrolet Corvette. “If you knew as much as they know this candy apple metal flake Corvette,” the trailer asserts, “you’d be chasing it too.” Well then, what do we know about this five-owner ’69 Coupe L88 4-Speed that makes it worth chasing? A lot. For one thing, a collector Corvettes need documentation, history and accolades and this has it ALL.

The ’69 earned the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals Triple Diamond Certification, the Bloomington Gold Certification, and selection to the Bloomington Gold Collection. Now how much would you pay? The last three examples auctioned did $423k (20k miles), $610k (28k miles) and $330k (no miles listed). This exact car bid to $640 in March 2021 and . . . no saled. So I wouldn’t be shocked if it pulls $750k range. Could this be the $1m dollar Corvette?
