Tony’s Take: (Researching) Report Coming Soon.
The Lamborghini Countach has long been considered one of the most iconic sports cars of all time. Its sleek, low-slung design and powerful engine have made it a coveted item for car collectors and enthusiasts around the world.
The 1989 Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary model is a true icon of the automotive world, with only 658 examples produced to end the model line. This particular car, completed in November 1988, was delivered new to the United States and purchased by legendary musician Rod Stewart in 1990. Since then, it has remained in the same family until its recent purchase by the current seller in May 2022.
The car has been well-maintained throughout its life, with recent service performed under the current ownership including the installation of a replacement brake master cylinder, a rebuild of the brake calipers, and a new battery. The car also comes with factory books, tools, service records, and a copy of the previous California title in Rod Stewart’s name, as well as a clean Carfax report and a clean Montana title in the name of the seller’s LLC.
In terms of valuation, We are VERY on this example and believes it could sell for $1,000,000 or more, exceeding the sale price of the Paris car which sold for $775,000. While market conditions and other factors can certainly affect the final sale price, it is clear that this Countach is a rare and desirable vehicle that is sure to attract attention from buyers and enthusiasts around the world.
