Before we launched the Rienzi Report, Farago asked a simple question: will we tell the truth? (This from the man who founded The Truth About Cars.) “Absolutely,” I said. “That’s how I run my business. That’s how we’ll run the website.” And so we have. And so we will. Come what may.
Farago also had some advice: “Remember: this is an endless marathon, not a sprint.” True that. Starting with my prediction for a 2004 Ferrari 360 Spider, we’ve published an article a day for the last 74 days. And counting.
Of course, we’re still finding our way forward. Developing our style. Making changes. Last week, we put our heads together and decided not to pick “interesting” cars for auction predictions. From now on, I’ll offer predictions in one of two categories: cars worth buying, and cars you should avoid. Thumbs up or thumbs down.

Been following Robert off and on for years including the interesting watch site recently. His writing is off the chart. Yours is been solid so far. You have a smooth style that is easy to read. The only thing I would like to see is some foundation articles on the business. I am enjoying each day, but am totally ignorant to this area of the auto world.
I don’t usually comment, but I have added this site to my bookmark bar(bigger deal than it sounds). You should be proud of what you’ve made here.

I couldn’t have done it without him. dDyslexic 101 here and wouldn’t want to change that for the world, but I needed Robert like Moses needed Aaron! He is the reason this got kicked off after years in the making! “Added to bookmark” The things that make me smile! Please keep us informed of what you would like to see more of in the future.
I like the idea, although “interesting” is interesting. If the site is intended to be more of a state of the market then you probably don’t have time to digress too much. Just an idea, but on Farago’s old (old, old) site there was a guy who owned a BHPH lot who told some remarkable stories of how those auctions worked. If you had the time it would be interesting to see how it works on the high-end.
